Wine and Cheese Party to Benefit the Boys & Girls of Wisconsin Rapids

A Wine a Cheese Party was held at Golden Eagle Log Homes in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Friday November 14th, 2008. Golden Eagle Log Homes along with WLJY, Ocean Spray, Big Cheese 107.9 FM, and Paul Gross Jewelers sponsored the event which raised over $8,200.00 to support the Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area.

Guests toured the two holiday decorated log homes while enjoying over 20 wines from Betsy’s Tasting Room and a great selection of specialty cheeses from Harmony Specialty Dairy. A bit of intrigue was added to the evening by Paul Gross Jewelers who provided the guests with an opportunity to win a one-half carat diamond. Guests purchased a special glass of wine, one of which contained the real one-half carat diamond. Congratulations go out to Michelle Michael’s of Wisconsin Rapids for winning the diamond.

An estimated 120 guests came to the wine and cheese event, contributing to its great success. Mark your calendars now to be a part of the 2009 Wine and Cheese Party scheduled for Friday November 13th.
