Is the Double Eagle world famous? We think so, and Log Home Design Ideas magazine thinks so too. The Double Eagle was created with the help of Log Home Design Ideas magazine and Golden Eagle's designers. The magazine staff wanted to build a log home from the ground up, from design to furnishing, just like a log home buyer would. They took our 1,640 sq. ft. Mountain View floor plan and enlarged it to 2,377 sq. ft. and the Double Eagle was born. The Double Eagle was featured in seven different issues of Log Home Design Ideas magazine and was their 2003 showcase home. That is why it is world famous. The Double Eagle was built at the Lake Arrowhead golf course, hence the golf terminology name. This is an awesome home! The angled garage gives it a unique look. Large windows in the Great Room give you plenty of visibility and natural light. A fireplace in the Great Room is a standard feature in all our packages. The whirlpool bath in the master bath is bumped out for an outdoors feel. The kitchen is angled and will make anyone ooh and ah. A covered front porch gives it that original log cabin look. The second floor has two, nice sized bedrooms, a bath, and an open loft. This really is a showcase log home. We have built many of these; it's a real crowd pleaser. Let's get started on yours today.
